We started this site for a simple reason. Family life is hard, and most of the advice out there either talks down to people or pretends there is a neat solution to everything. We wanted somewhere that just told the truth, plainly, and admitted that nobody really has it all figured out.
Who we are
We are not therapists or experts with letters after our names. We are people who have lived this, made plenty of mistakes, and learned a few things worth passing on. We write from experience, not from a textbook.
What we write about
Relationships and marriage, the daily reality of parenting, and the small habits that hold a home together. We are less interested in grand theories and more interested in what actually helps on an ordinary Tuesday.
What we believe
That families come in all shapes and none of them is the gold standard. That good relationships are built slowly, mostly through paying attention. That it is fine not to have the answers, and that being honest about that is more useful than pretending otherwise.
